Services

We believe no two people come into therapy with the same story, same worries, or same goals. In our practice, therapy is tailored to meet you where you are, not to fit you into a one‑size‑fits‑all mold. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or other emotional or relational challenges, we’ll help you recognize the patterns that keep getting in your way, notice the strengths you’re already using, and adjust the thoughts and behaviors that are making life feel heavier than it has to be.

Our practice specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families, offering support that:

  • Helps adults manage anxiety, depression, and life transitions while still showing up for work, relationships, and parenting.

  • Supports parents and caregivers who feel overwhelmed by their child’s struggles and need help finding their own footing.

  • Strengthens connections between partners and family members, so you can move through conflict with more clarity and less reactivity.

If you’re ready to work with someone who takes your experience seriously and meets you with both compassion and clarity, give us a call today.

Men’s Issues

Many of the men we work with grew up hearing that “real men” don’t ask for help, don’t show vulnerability, and always stay in control. As a result, they carry a lot silently—parenting stress, relationship strain, work pressure, or unresolved grief and anger—until it starts to show up as irritability, drinking, withdrawal, or feeling emotionally checked out.

In our practice, we see that gap between what men are taught and what they actually need as an invitation, not a failure. Therapy here isn’t about “fixing” masculinity; it’s about using your strength in a healthier way—by learning to slow down, notice your emotions, and show up for your life and relationships with more honesty and less shame.

Therapy for Depression and Anxiety

Therapy for anxiety and depression is less about “fixing” how you feel and more about understanding how your life, your relationships, and your past have shaped your nervous system and your inner world. Whether you’re an adult, parent, or caregiver, we’ll help you notice the patterns that keep pulling you back into worry, sadness, or withdrawal—and build skills you can actually use outside the office.

This is a space where your exhaustion, your irritability, and your guilt are met with curiosity, not judgment. If you’re ready to lighten this load and feel more like yourself again, give us a call today.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

Child and adolescent therapy in our practice is for children, teens, and their families who are struggling with big emotions, behavioral challenges, school stress, or the impact of trauma, ADHD, or autism. We focus on helping kids feel more understood in their own world and helping parents feel more confident and connected in theirs.

Through a relational, trauma‑informed, and strengths‑based approach, we help children and teens:

  • Name and understand their emotions instead of being ruled by them.

  • Make sense of behaviors that feel confusing or “too big” at home or at school.

  • Build practical skills for managing anxiety, frustration, and social stress.

Parents and caregivers are an essential part of the process. We help you understand your child’s inner world, support their strengths, and respond more calmly and consistently when things feel overwhelming.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence‑based therapy that helps people process and heal from distressing memories and trauma. It uses a set of structured, standardized steps that incorporate ideas from several different therapeutic approaches, so it feels practical and grounded, not abstract or overly technical.

In EMDR, the brain’s natural healing process is supported through a technique called bilateral stimulation. We typically incorporate gentle alternating taps or sounds. These movements are similar to the brain activity seen during REM sleep—a time when the mind naturally processes the day’s experiences.

Over time, EMDR can help “unstick” painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or raw. Many people find that beliefs like “I’m not safe” or “This is my fault” begin to shift once the actual memory loses some of its emotional charge. In our practice, EMDR is used thoughtfully, at a pace that feels safe for you, and usually after we’ve built some stabilization and coping skills first.

PTSD

PTSD is a response that can develop after someone experiences or witnesses a deeply distressing or life‑threatening event, like an accident, assault, disaster, or exposure to violence. It can also show up after ongoing trauma, such as abuse, neglect, or repeated stress. In both cases, the mind and body stay stuck in survival mode, making it hard to feel safe even when danger is no longer present.

People living with PTSD may experience intense memories, flashbacks, or nightmares; feel constantly on edge or easily startled; avoid people or places that feel connected to the trauma; or feel emotionally numb or cut off from others. This often affects relationships, work, parenting, and the ability to feel like yourself again.

In our practice, therapy for PTSD is grounded, gentle, and paced to your needs. We help you process what happened without re‑traumatizing you, so it no longer hijacks your everyday life.
