Ben Erickson
If you're trying to make sense of where you've been, what's getting in your way, and how to move forward in a way that feels authentic - you're not alone. Whether you're stuck in old patterns, working through something painful, or unsure about your next step, I can help you sort through it and find a path forward.
I work with teens (14+) and adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I draw from evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). These aren't just buzzwords - I use them intentionally and flexibly, depending on what you need. That said, the foundation of my work is always the relationship we build. I aim to create a space where you can be real, feel understood, and make meaningful progress without needing to have it all figured out first.
I'm committed to helping people reconnect with their own insight and capacity for change. I won't pretend to have all the answers - therapy isn't about quick fixes - but I know how to help you ask the right questions, challenge what's no longer working, and build something more solid moving forward.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually spending time with friends, family, or my dog - or getting out for a hike when the Arizona heat gives me the chance.
Ben currently is accepting new patients for Wednesdays and Fridays.
